Mark the date: Miriam hits back at Enrile Dec. 4
MANILA, Philippines – Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago said she would retaliate against Senate Minority Leader Juan Ponce Enrile who called her an "obsessive hater" in a privilege speech Wednesday afternoon.
Santiago said in a release that she has asked Senate Majority Leader Alan Cayetano to schedule her a privilege speech on December 4, Wednesday, wherein she would respond to the attacks of Enrile.
In his speech today, Enrile hit back at Santiago’s tirades regarding his supposed involvement in the P10-billion pork barrel scam.
While he did not identify his rival, Enrile referred to Santiago as an “obsessive hater” whom he said had accused him as “murderous” and mastermind of the alleged scam.
